Our Process

01.

Consultation

This is our first meeting and aside from getting to know each other, this meeting is focused on creating a concept design for you session and discussing everything from wardrobe options to props used and location options. We will meet virtually or in person.

We will also talk about the kind of art products you are most interested in whether it is an album to share with family or a large mural to decorate the walls in your home. This is also lead us to discuss payment and what kind of payment plans and options we offer.

02.

Session

This is the fun part! We do our best to ensure everyone is comfortable and having a great time during their shoot. I understand a lot of us are quite camera shy, I am as well! But during your shoot you can rely on me to be your new bestie, hyping you up and cheering you on! I assist in posing you in a way that is most flattering for your body type. By the end of your session you will be feeling great about yourself and much more relaxed in front of the camera. Not only will your session be fun but together we will create beautiful magazine worthy photos!

When we shoot in my studio you will feel at home, you can relax and take a break in our waiting are if you are in for a newborn shoot. I keep snacks and drinks including coffee for your enjoyment.

Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours so we strive to create a comfortable environment for new sleepy parents while I'm working with your baby.

Reveal

The moment we are all so anxious for! How did the pictures turn out?! The reveal is your viewing and ordering appointment. At this time you will be presented with a gallery of your portraits to choose from as well as the products you love. Remember these photos are your legacy.

04.

Delivery

Yay they're here! You will either come back to the studio to pick up or we can arrange a time for Maryah to personally deliver your products.
